Ever since Apple’s recent keynote, there has been much buzz and excitement over the upcoming new MacBook. We’ve all been staring incessantly at its beautiful thin body and power hardware. Well, there’s good news, bad news and worse news about it.
The Good News
The new Macbook is now available on Apple Malaysia’s Online Site with all 3 colors (Gold, Silver and Space Grey) with 2 Variants.
The Bad News
Even if you do order it now, your shiny new MacBook won’t reach your door for another 3 to 4 weeks, and that’s just for shipping.
The Worse News
It’s starting online price is currently RM4769, with GST included. Initially, the new MacBook was announced just last month, with the lowest price being RM4499, but thanks to a certain 6% tax, we’re paying more for it as of now.
It comes in 2 spec variants:
- 1.1GHz dual-core Intel M processor with 256GB SSD storage for RM4769
- 1.2GHz dual-core Intel M processor with 512GB SSD storage for RM5829
Whichever you pick, you’ll still get the same 900 grams of thin and sexy. Both come with a 12″ 2304 X 1440 display panel that’s an amazingly thin and snappable 0.88mm. It promise to give out 9-10 hours worth of battery juice, a nifty USB-C port that works as your all-in-one toolkit that features a VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI and charge point. Also, a new ‘force’ touch trackpad has been added among all these cool features and gadgets.
