If You’re Not Subscribed To These 12 M’sian Female YouTubers, You’re Missing Out

You probably already know about international female YouTubers such as Grace Helbig, Bethany Mota, and Jenna Marbles, but there are actually many talented Malaysian female YouTubers as well. Here at Vulcan Post, we’ve come up with a list of Malaysian ladies you should be looking out for on YouTube.

1. Grace Teo

Grace is a Malaysian who is currently living in Germany. In 2011, she packed her bags and travelled more than 11 hours to get to Germany. She blogs at gracemoments.com to share with her readers her beautiful experience, and also films food videos here.

2. Joanna Soh

Joanna Soh is a qualified personal trainer. She films her preparation of healthy recipes and fitness videos, so you can follow suit and work out with her in your own home. This means you will be able to save your money as you won’t have to hire a personal trainer.

3. Ashley Ahn

Ashley is half Korean and half Chinese, and can speak English, Bahasa Malaysia, Korean, and Mandarin. She is also one of the Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 finalists. Other than blogging, she also vlogs about beauty, make up, and shows her viewers what she buys online.

4. GirlsBeingGirlsTV 

GirlsBeingGirlsTV consists of five ladies: Jane Chuck, Daphne Charice, Ashley Lau, Nanabwincess, and Natalie Saw. As the channel suggests, they film things that girls feel strongly about, and give their opinions from a girl’s perspective. That doesn’t mean that guys are not encouraged watch this channel, though.

5. Charis Ow 

Charis cites Jenn Im from Clothes Encounters as her inspiration, and uploads videos about beauty and fashion. You might not know this, but she actually started out posting song covers.

6. Jenn Chiayy

Jenn is a singer-songwriter born and bred in Kuala Lumpur. She has produced content for Disney, Nestle, and Castrol, amongst other brands.

7. Felicia Cheong 

Felicia is a 22-year-old marketing exec specializing in advertising, brand management, and social media. She is also a freelance designer and during her free time, she never forgets to invest time in her favorite things like beauty products.

8. Sabrina Tajudin

Sabrina’s channel is not just all about beauty and lifestyle. She also does reviews so that you can shop wiser. She also blogs at sabrinatajudin.com.

9. Nur Amalin Roslan

Amalin explained that she decided to make videos on YouTube because she wanted to improve on her language skills. But we think that she already speaks some pretty good English. She is believed to be 18 years old this year, and got an impressive 9As in her SPM (O Levels). Congratulations!

10. Joyce Chu

Pretty face + sweet voice = Joyce Chu, who rose to fame after the music video of her song Malaysian Chabor was published. How could we leave out this young lady when we’re talking about female YouTube stars?

11. Emily Quak

Emily is a law graduate and she just moved back to Malaysia from Melbourne not long ago. Aside from blogging about beauty, her thoughts on fashion, and her life stories, she also has her own beauty channel.

12. Daiyan Trisha

Based in Bangi, Selangor, Daiyan is a singer-songwriter and actress. She started uploading videos in 2009, and has been signed under Astro since January 2013. During her free time, she loves to read, exercise, and of course, sing.
